Quizlet

Quizlet is a study tool on the internet.  Actually, I should say that Quizlet is a fun study tool on the internet.   It is a site where an individual can create flashcards to study for an upcoming quiz or test.

After a flashcard set is created, you can study from the flashcards! Quizlet allows one to study the flashcards the traditional way, by reading the front and the back of the cards, or one can choose to be prompted with a word to which you have to type in the corresponding definition (or vice versa).  Games are also available to make the memorizing process slightly more entertaining.  Quizlet can even generate exams with which one can test their actual knowledge what the flashcards contain.

The process of making and using flashcards on Quizlet is simple, and is shown below.  For our class, I have made flashcards for our historical content midterm!

1. go to the Quizlet website and create an account, or sign in if you already have one.  This is in the upper right hand corner of the Quizlet home page.

2. You will be led to the home page, as shown. Click on the "make flashcards" button.

3.  The screen below will show up.  Type in the information pertaining to your set.  Scroll down to the section titled "enter your flashcards".  Type in the information you want to go on the flashcards. When finished, click create set!

4. You will be taken to the page below, where you can study and learn the information on your flashcards.

Wow! Is this free?

It is free! (You can use Quizlet Plus for a fee, but I haven't tried it and don't think it's worth the money) :)

Do you think it would help me learn Spanish?

it could help you learn Spanish, but I think it would be more helpful if the you had a program that would speak to you, and you to it, instead of just reading all the time.
